Amtrak’s Sunset Limited/Texas Eagle stops in Alpine three times a week.

The nearest commercial airport is Midland International Air & Space Port (MAF), about 150 miles northeast. [El Paso International Airport (ELP)](https://www.flyelpaso.com/) is another option, about 220 miles west.
